Rural Reponse Group - Call for volunteers
We need to be aware that due to the flood situations occurring around the state presently, we will need to call on our Rural Relief Group volunteers to assist those in desperate need of help.
This will be in the form of cleaning up all types of damage to perhaps both home dwellings and farm fences amongst other types of necessary areas of concern.
We have already contacted the land managers and shires indicating our offer of assistance in this regard.
Please let your members know that this action will be called for as soon as the flood waters subside and allow things to be acted on.
We will endeavour to give adequate notice to hit the ground running as soon as the authorities allow.
