Trip Leader Get Together at Valley Farm

You’re invited to join us for the Trip Leader Get Together at Valley Farm — a weekend focused on collaboration, connection, and creating even better adventures for our club members.

This weekend will be all about sharing ideas, experiences, and practical tips to help us grow as trip leaders and inspire more trips across the club. Whether you’re an experienced leader or just starting out, your input and enthusiasm are what make our club’s trips so successful.

As part of the weekend, we’ll set up a few trips in Club Express and head out on those trips, giving everyone the chance to observe how each trip leader operates. This will be a great opportunity for newer leaders to gain ideas and confidence in how to plan and lead their own trips.

Event Details:
• Arrival: From 4:00pm, Friday 21 November
• Departure: By 2:00pm, Sunday 23 November
• Location: Valley Farm

You can arrive either Friday afternoon and enjoy a relaxing night by the Campfire or by 9am Saturday.
Breakfast will be provided Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 10am.
A BBQ dinner will be provided Saturday night - please bring your plates and cutlery.
You will also need to bring your own drinks for the weekend.

Bring your camping gear, ideas, and team spirit for a relaxed and engaging weekend of learning, planning, and fun around the campfire.

Let’s get together to strengthen our skills, share knowledge, and shape the future of MJOC trips!

We encourage all Existing Trip Leaders who haven’t led a trip recently to come along — we’d love to understand any challenges you’re facing and explore how we can better support you to run more trips.

New Trip Leaders are especially encouraged to attend — we want to help you build confidence, overcome any hurdles, and feel fully supported to lead your own trips.

Family members of Trip Leaders are welcome to attend - if they wish they can go to Narbeview to assist with feeding and other duties required by Shelly.
Please send an email to operations@mjoc.org.au if they wish to do this, so that we can let Shelly know how many people to expect.
