Community Service Activities

MJOC is involved in many community activities.

We raise funds throughout the year through raffles, and Pink Pig fines which are donated to a worthy cause at the end of the year. In the past this has included Royal Flying Doctors, CFA and others.

MJOC also assists with maintaining Keppels Hut, Ryan’s Spur Hut and 15 Mile Hut in conjunction with the Victorian High Country Huts Association. We also do volunteering with Four Wheel Drive Victoria and Blaze Aid with Emergency Relief, Land Manager Support with track clearing and bush clean ups etc.

We acknowledge and respect Victorian Traditional Owners as the original custodians of Victoria’s land and waters, their unique ability to care for Country and deep spiritual connection to it. We honour Elders past, present and emerging, whose knowledge and wisdom has ensured the continuation of culture and traditional practices.
