About this event
Narbethong - Stuart Gibson Trip Leader
Hills and Slippery Places
This trip into the Narbethong Forest will include some technical tracks at the more challenging end of the Medium rating.
Expect a little bit of bush touring between some testing obstacles including some mud (but not too deep), some slippy hills, a water crossing and some fairly steep hills.
There are only a couple of areas of itchy and scratchy and if you go slowly through them you can emerge without any new pinstripes.
This trip is ideally suited to those who want to stretch their skills without going over the top difficult.
Trip leader special/additional requirements
Mud Terrain tyres or aggressive All Terrain tyres
Water Bra or Wading Sheet
Special Note on Referendum
Since listing this trip the Feds have decided to hold the Voice Referendum on the same day. If at all possible you should arrange Early Voting or Postal Voting but if you cannot we should finish the trip in Maryville well before the 6:00pm poll closing time.
Vehicle set up requirements
Please note that this trip is more suitable for vehicles that have been lifted with larger aggressive All Terrain or Mud Terrain Tyres.
The trip is rated Medium for dry conditions. If it is wet it will probably slip into the Difficult category.
Please contact the Trip Leader or Operations Officer if unsure about your vehicle.
