VERY DIFFICULT  TRIP

Toolangi Very Difficult Tracks
 
This is information for one of the Trips being held for Muster 2025 - Bookings can be made at Muster HQ

This trip will leave from Muster 2025 at Valley Farm at 9am.  Trip Briefing will be at 8.30am at Muster HQ.  

We will enter Toolangi State Forest and tackle 2 or 3 Very Difficult Tracks before heading back to Muster at Valley Farm around 12.30pm.


If it rains this trip will become more technical and very muddy and we may change some tracks based on the conditions.

The club requires members to comply with applicable Government COVID19 requirements cutrrent at the time of the trip.



Trip leader requirements

Aggressive A/T or Mud Terrain Tyres 
Non Wrangler JL or JK will need more clearance (Lift or Tyres)
Electric Winch

Diff Locks would be beneficial

Shovel/digging implement

Recovery Boards (eg Maxtrax)






Vehicle set up requirements


Please note that this trip is only suitable for vehicles that have been lifted with larger aggressive All terrain or Mud terrain Tyres.
Vehicles need to be equipped for this trip as the Trip Leader has specified.

All vehicles need to be fully self recoverable with electric winch and the trip leader may specify diff locks be fitted. Vehicles should be in good working order as conditions will place additional stress on the vehicle.

Drivers must be very experienced and should consider completing the MJOC advanced driver training course.

The Trip Leader may require other equipment or vehicle set up. Please contact the Trip Leader or Operations Officer if unsure about your vehicle.

Recovery / Snatch Strap
Electric Winch
Rated Shackles
Recovery Dampener
First Aid Kit
UHF 5 Watt Radio in car
Fire Extinguisher
Water Bra or Wading Sheet
Spade or Shovel, Leather Gloves etc
