Snow Hunting on Mt Skene - Meet at 8.30am to depart at 9.00am

After meeting at Jamieson we will head up Mt Skene, hopefully making it to the top and back down  to Jamieson. Depending on the depth of snow and how long it takes us we will look at hitting some tracks back to Jamieson.  The trip will end back at Jamieson around 5pm, we can then stop at the Courthouse Hotel for a drink and a chat about the day.

Bring lunch, snacks, water.  Warm snow appropriate clothing is required, a change of clothes is recommend.

All vehicles will need to carry snow chains and the driver of the vehicle must know how to fit them before leaving for this trip.

If you want to come up Friday there are options for accommodation:

Jamieson Caravan Park - 6 Grey Street, Jamieson, VIC 3723,
  Ph: 0494 119 032

You can also check on Booking.com / Stayz / AirBnB for houses/holiday units.

We will be in Jamieson from Friday afternoon and will be having dinner at the Courthouse Hotel - please advise if you would like to join us so that we can book a table to accommodate everyone - a separate trip will be posted for dinner for booking numbers.

There will be 2 groups of 9 for this trip
