Narbeview Wildlife Shelter Working Bee for Fire Relief


We’re planning a volunteer working bee at Narbeview Wildlife Shelter, pending confirmation from authorities that it’s safe to attend.

We will be meeting at the Black Spur Inn at 8.30am on Saturday 17 January 2026, we will be leaving at 9am.

The goal is to support Shelly and Rod, and the incredible wildlife care community, by helping restore the grounds

Duties 
Whipper snipping around the property
Cleaning shelters
Pitching in wherever help is needed.

With multiple call-outs expected, every bit of help will make a difference.

If you’re able to lend a hand, your support would be greatly appreciated

Equipment Required for the day
Hat, Sunscreen, long pants, work gloves and enclosed shoes (sturdy work boots preferred)  **Please do not wear thongs***
Whipper snipper (if you have one)
Rake

Lunch
We will provide a BBQ lunch and water for the day
Please bring snacks and additional drinks for yourself

***Please note: Weather conditions may change during the day so please ensure that you have appropriate clothing***
