What is a Muster?
An MJOC Muster is usually held at a location where members can camp and often has a central area or room that can be used as a HQ. Also a spot where we can gather for an evening meal is also considered such as a local hall.
Activities at a muster will usually have multiple trips each day heading off into the local 4WD tracks to play on.
Other activities usually include a Show n Shine competion where members vehicles are judged for different criteria such as the muddiest Jeep or cleanest Jeep etc. Prizes are given out for the different catergories.
Articulation Ramp is another popular event at a MJOC Muster where vehicles are driven up a purpose built flex ramp to measure the articulation before the front wheel comes off the ground. These are usually a very competitive event.
The evening meal usually on the Saturday night is usually caytered for by the club.
