DIFFICULT TRIP

High Country Adventure - Part 1

Meet at Mansfield BP at 8am for a 8.30am departure.  Please ensure that you fill up and you may need a jerry can as well as there will be no fuel until we arrive at Licola on Sunday. 

We will be staying in Mansfield Friday night - if you want to come up Friday Night please make your own accommodation arrangements.  ***There is a free camp behind the Yarck Pub and is only 45mins from Mansfield***

On Saturday we will departing Mansfield and heading into the High Country. We will be visiting the following huts: Tomahawk Hut, Razorback Hut, Craigs Hut, Bindaree Hut, Pikes Flat Hut, travel along 16 Mile Jeep Track to Blufff Hut and ending the day at Lovicks Hut.
We will camp overnight at Lovicks Hut.  There are drop toilets here.

Sunday we will make our way to Licola and see what we see on the way.

Trip will end at Licola - if you are joining us for Part 2 we will be staying at the Licola Caravan Park -Please make your own arrangements for accommodation at Licola Caravan Park.

Please ensure that you pack enough food and water for the weekend as well as camping gear.  Warm Clothing as the weather can change in the High Country overnight.  A Change of clothes.

The club requires members to comply with applicable Government COVID19 requirements cutrrent at the time of the trip.

Trip leaders special requirements

Aggressive A/T or Mud Terrain Tyres  Non Wrangler JL or JK will need more clearance (Lift or Tyres)
Snorkle or Wade Sheet 
Enough Fuel for 2 days
Food and water for 2 days
Camping Equipment



Important Note for members - please ensure your vehicle is in good mechanical condition for the trip. Your vehicle should be equipped for the rating for this trip including special Trip Leader requirements (Snow Chains etc.). The Trip Leader has the right to not allow you or your vehicle to participate on the trip if trip requirements are not met. This includes COVID19 Vaccination requirements
